Sue and I wanted to say "THANK YOU" for all you have done for my family in selling Mom's house. I know you may have thought I have been a pain in the A## a few times, but believe me I was only looking out for Mom and was in no way trying to make your job harder. What Mom received from the sale of her house is all she has for the rest of her years...
She and Dad worked hard for what they have... Working hard for them being wheelchair bound is more than even I can comprehend. I'm glad you were able to meet Mom, She is a remarkable woman for all the life's challenges she has endured. Russell, You're a good man and again we thank you.

I have used Russell Barnes as both my buyer and seller’s agent, and I’ve been extremely happy with him in both cases. I would use him again without hesitation and I’ve recommended him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
On the buyer’s side, Russell was very patient during my 3-month process of looking for a home to purchase. He was always available for a showing, and he never tried to push me into buying something that wasn’t quite right. Russell consistently went above and beyond the call of duty. He didn’t just look online for properties, but he also drove around my target neighborhoods and told me about FSBOs he found! Russell is smart enough to use the technology available to him to be as informed as possible. He kept me informed about new properties as they came on the market via automatic emails, and by the time I got an email about an interesting property, he was already prepared to make an appointment to see it. Because he did his homework, Russell knew what a home’s value was, and if it was overpriced or a good deal.
Once I found the perfect home, Russell helped me to procure my loan for an excellent rate. This was very convenient because he was able to stay in contact with all companies involved with closing my purchase and he was able to provide me with timely information about every aspect of the deal. His phone calls to the Mortgage Company held extra weight because he worked with them.
On the seller’s side, Russell still consistently went above and beyond what I would expect an agent to do. Russell actually pitched in and helped me move things out to get the house ready to show. He also was able to help me to decide what I needed to be "cleaned up" before showing the house and helped me find excellent people to do the work. I wouldn’t have been able to get the house on the market, let alone get a contract signed in less than a week, without him.
Because Russell knows the local real estate market and did his homework, he was able to price my home aggressively enough to get a contract on it in less than a week. Plus, the contract was for above appraisal! Because of his research, we weren’t surprised, but it really highlighted his negotiating and research skills to me.
Russell is extremely professional and he can also be very down to earth when appropriate. He knows his market very well and does the research to stay current. When I worked with him, he was relatively new to real estate, and he knew when (and whom) to ask for help; he didn’t just pretend he knew something. Russell also does what he says he will do, a trait I haven’t experienced to be common among real estate agents.
On both sides of my house purchase/ sales, I totally trusted him during contract negotiations on both sides. He is an excellent negotiator without being pushy or a bully. He is professional and informed the whole way.
I truly felt like Russell had my best interests in mind and was my advocate at all stages of my buying and selling experiences and I would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him anyone wanting to buy or sell a home.
Russell Barnes is a nice, considerate, respectful, trustworthy guy. I will miss him now that my real estate transactions are complete.

............Mr. Barnes is the most professional Real Estate Agent I have ever work with........ I own a Not-For-Profit business, where I purchase homes, repair them and then resell them, mostly to families that have special needs. I have been in this business for many years and Russell has been the very best. His honesty and work ethics are to be complimented as being the very best I have ever worked with. .........We recently purchased our first home. Mr. Barnes made it seem so simple. I don't know why we were so worried about the purchase....He worked very hard to find the perfect home and the best loan possible for us. We had some special needs that are a little uncommon (handicap requirements) and he searched and found the perfect home. We highly recommend him to all our family and friends and I'm sure all his other customers feel as happy with his service as we do........

Super Service is the only way I can describe the service we received from Russell when selling our home. We needed to sell fast due to a job transfer and he fit the bill......... We had our home listed with other agencies for over 190 days and was receiving no service from them. We needed to sell our home as we were having a new home built. Mr. Barnes took our listing and advised that part of the problem was that we had the home listed to low for the neighborhood. He listed it for $5000 more than the other agents.........sold it in three days. To say we were happy is an understatement.. We were able to complete the construction of our new home on time and move on the right day, as he negotiated the exact move-in dates to allow us to avoid living in temporary residence.......All I can say is Thank You for such Great Service!
